Events at the First NOK Group Match to Raise Awareness

NOK Corporation (Headquarters: Shibadaimon, Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, Group Chief Executive Officer: Masao Tsuru; hereinafter referred to as "NOK") will host the first-ever NOK Group Match on Saturday, August 2, during the Meiji Yasuda J2 League Round 24 match between Júbilo Iwata and Blaublitz Akita at Yamaha Stadium (Iwata City, Shizuoka Prefecture). This will mark NOK's first time serving as a match partner for Júbilo Iwata. The event will also raise awareness about the sea turtle conservation activities in Omaezaki City, which NOK and Júbilo Iwata jointly support.

Omaezaki City, one of Júbilo Iwata's hometowns, is known as a nesting site for loggerhead sea turtles, an internationally recognized endangered species. For nearly 50 years, the city and students at Omaezaki Elementary School have been dedicated to protecting these precious turtles. With business sites in western Shizuoka Prefecture, NOK is invested in the local community and actively participates in environmental conservation. In partnership with Júbilo Iwata, another organization deeply rooted in the region, NOK is proud to support these ongoing conservation efforts.

A range of activities will be held during the event to deepen public understanding of sea turtle protection efforts.

The first 10,000 visitors to the stadium will receive a special edition “uchiwa” (a Japanese round-shaped fan) created exclusively for this match and featuring an illustration of children watching over sea turtles.

A special booth, “Omaezaki Elementary School Sea Turtle Support Booth with NOK,” will also be set up at Júbilo Plaza inside the stadium. Operated by the students of Omaezaki Elementary School, the booth will feature fun, hands-on activities such as quizzes, handmade sea turtle models, and informative pamphlets, all designed to share what the children have learned in class about sea turtles and the importance of protecting them. It’s a meaningful opportunity for the students to express this knowledge in their own words.

The booth will also feature a donation box designed by the students. The first 500 people who make a donation will receive an original NOK bag as a token of appreciation. All proceeds will go toward future conservation efforts.
